inspiration monday

Happy Monday! What better way to start the week than with some goodies and treats? Today, I present you with a random list of things that have inspired me, brought a smile to my face, or made me think recently. In no particular order...

  • My husband had his CD Release Party on Saturday night for his new album "No More, No Less" and performed in front of a packed house. Whenever I see him perform, I am inspired and feel myself falling for him all over again. He's kind of dreamy. Click this link to learn how you can get your hands on his CD and to view the cover art, done by yours truly.
  • Inspired by the website, Week of Life, I'm photographing my life for seven days. The basic premise is that you photograph your life for a week and then post nine photos from each day on the Week of Life site. People from all over the world are doing it! It's almost like Slice of Life Tuesday on steroids! At first, I wasn't quite sure what to photograph. My life hasn't been the most exciting lately. But I find myself running for my camera at odd moments - like while doing laundry or washing the dishes. You'd be amazed how different life looks when you've got a camera in your hand 24/7!

can you believe i photographed these in my back yard???

It's your turn! Where have you found inspiration lately?

It seems we're on a similar list-making wavelength today!

Congrats to your hubby on his CD release, and to you for the artwork on the cover!!!

why, thank you, darrah. what sweet words you have used. this surely made my day! it is kind of you to not only let me know that i have inspired you, but also that you would share it with others. i love to do this, so it makes me giddy when someone does it for me.

with that, i love the rest of your list, and i can't wait to check out all the links. i'm especially intrigued about your husband's album. my husband is a closet musician who i think is very gifted. i wish he would get out there and be brave enough to record and perform. i think he's good enough to!

love that DIY calendar from shutter sisters. i downloaded that template and plan to use it for sure. such a great idea!

very inspiring and thoughtful post. thanks again for having me be a part of it!

i just went to the link for your husband's album and was so delighted to find out he is a trumpet player. my dad played the trumpet and was a very bit jazz lover {which is why my sister and i started this blog...http://sawdustandjazz.blogspot.com/}. so that's twice in five minutes that you have made my day and made me smile. :) thank you.

love that album cover artwork, by the way! very very cool.
